Meet Taliah Hartman.
Q: What High School do you attend?
Please tell us about your current plans after high school and what inspired you to choose this path? I plan to attend Augusta University, majoring in psychology, and becoming a physicians assistant. I mainly want to work with kids. I chose this path because I love kids and I want to help people.
Please tell us a little bit about your family. I live with my father, Richard, who does everything he can to support me and pushes me to be my best self. My mom is not in the picture.
Q: What are couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: Mexican, Mellow Mushroom.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: I would go to Paris. I’ve always wanted to go, I think it’s a beautiful place.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: I have a couple of favorite TV shows: Vampire diaries, Grey’s Anatomy, and Criminal Minds.
Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?
A: If you believe you can do it, you can do it. Mrs. Gunter.
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: Mrs. Mead. I would love to have lunch with Mrs. Mead because she has impacted my life drastically and we would probably eat Mexican.
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: I love everything about the community. Everyone is so welcoming and everyone knows everyone.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: I see myself graduated from Med School, and pursuing my plans of helping kids in need.
Q: What show are you binge-watching right now?
A: Once Upon A Time.

A: September, Christmas, 24.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: My dad.
Q: If you could go back over your entire school career, what is one thing you would do differently?
A: I would try harder my freshmen year.
Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?
A: My school, and my senior year.
Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?
A: HANG OUT WITH MY FRIENDS!
