Hope this isn’t too long but …We had gotten really bogged down with a property that required a special buyer who realized what he was getting into an investor somebody with a plan. ‘Location’ was both a plus and a minus at this address. The home was listed ‘as is’ and although it was move-in ready it was straight out of the 70s and unoccupied for 3 years. We had the property listed but after 2+ years with another company we were getting no inquiry. Then we met the de Laurentys ‘team’ on another dealing and I immediately knew that we had found somebody special. Gerilyn is maybe the most motivated and efficient and optimistic person I’ve dealt with and Nanda de Laurentys (mother inlaw and working partner) was the voice of many years of experience in the local real estate field and solid support both first hand and behind the scene. Gerilyn made a game plan executed and sold the property within 3 months. Gerilyn took this challenge and directed me through my owner obligations checking on my progress with daily contact when required. Getting to the sell she actually scheduled the buyer requests after consultation with the owners and completed the process inside of our closing date. (all this plus the professional attitude and patience she had with the owners) Gerilyn turned this into a very positive experience that came with the desired results. When I went to sell my rental it needed quite a bit if work before listing it. Gerilyn worked tirelessly to get the best prices for the work even meeting the contractors at the house to get estimates! When the house went on the market it sold within 25 days and I ended up making more than I expected! When the house was under contract Gerilyn was out of the country but she still kept in contact with me daily and did all the negotiations with the buyer!
