Meet Liz Klebba
Please tell us a little bit about your family. My husband, Curtis, my mother and I live in Augusta. We are blessed that our three grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandsons all live nearby. Anywhere we are together is home; the place doesn’t matter!
Please tell us about your current career. Thing you love most about what you do. I’m an Image, Wardrobe, and Color Consultant. I have the privilege of helping people decide how they want to show up in the world, and give them the tools to do that with confidence and flair!
Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
A: I’ve always loved style and fashion, and came to a point where I needed to be working for myself, but retail wasn’t my path. Retail is about making profit for the store. I wanted to be able to put my clients and their needs first!
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Evans, and what do you love there?
A: Finch & Fifth, Frog Hollow Tavern, Taj of India, and Cadwalladers Cafe.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Evans?
A: We just celebrated our 13th year here in Augusta, but we lived here for three years back around 2000, so total, 16+ years. That’s the longest I’ve lived anywhere, including the town in which I grew up!
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Evans?
A: Fr. Michael Roverse (St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church).
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
A: Rota, on the Atlantic coast of Spain. Amazing food, wine, sea breezes and siestas. We lived there for three years, and didn’t want to leave. I know “you can never go back,” but it was such a dream…
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: Movie: Blade Runner (WITH the narration!) TV? Usually British, although I’ve been loving The Good Place. When the next season goes live on Netflix, I’ll be a happy woman.
Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A: 6+3=9 So does 5+4. Your way isn’t the only way. Neither is mine.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: A trip on the Orient Express!
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
A: Thousand Foot Krutch.
Q: Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative with whom would you love to have lunch? Why and where would you have lunch?
A: President Obama. Because he made history and was vilified for it; I’d like to hear his take. Frog and the Hen.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about Evans?
A: It’s growing into a big city, but still has that small town feel.
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
A: Scotland.
Q: If you were cast in a movie and could choose your costar, who would it be?
A: My husband, Curtis.
Q: What is your favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: October, Wedding Anniversary/Halloween (They’re the same day), I can’t choose one best day; my children and grandchildren were all born on different dates!
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: Chocolate!
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: My husband, Curtis.
Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
A: Lemon and baby heads.
Q: If a movie was made of your life, who would you want to play you?
A: Oooh! Jamie Lee Curtis.
Q: What 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
A: Family, Food, and Welcome.
