Questions:

Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?

A: It was definitely the Lord. I always had a passion in serving children and family. Actually, I had it in my mind to go to med school when I was in high school because I’d been to a mission trip to the Appalachian Mountains in Kentucky.  It’s super poor, no electricity at all and they don’t have access to medical care, which means that in an emergency situation, you’re already dead by the time you get down the mountain. Later on I realized that my heart was not in medicine but for the people. I took social work in college, I begin discerning to being called to ministry as my career. I started pursuing seminary and ministry full-time.
